This display cabinet has seven drawers and five to six shelves (depending on
how you count). It ships fully assembled and ready to use, and is built to last
using traditional joinery techniques.

I really like the way this cabinet mixes drawers with shelves inside its space
for display. There is a tension there, between the treasures you keep tucked
away and the treasures you put out for everyone to see. I also really like the
different, stacked places that exist to set objects. There’s space for things
to brearth, and there’s room to tell and discover stories about the things we
love and cherish.

Finished with OSMO, a matt hard-wax oil. It leaves the wood with a natural
look but is durable (it was designed as a floor finish), cleans up with a damp
rag, and is easy to repair.
